Absolutely everything!
Well, almost. There are some insurances that you should have. The thing with insurance is, so many people skip it. Because they just don’t think they’ll ever need it. Then suddenly something happens, you don’t have insurance, and you are struggling to cover the costs. That is the thing, it is about the ‘what if’ moments in life. And, ‘what ifs’ do happen – prevention is always better than cure, insurance is always better than none.

Car Insurance
If you drive, then you need to make sure you have the right insurance. There is nothing worse than being in a scrape with someone who doesn’t have insurance. The fact is though that it is a legal requirement and everyone should have it. You can, of course, have a lower insurance if you have something like Blackbox My Car. Being a safe driver should be rewarded, and the best way to do this is to have something that can automatically how you drive, and a camera that can prove the person of fault.
Life Insurance
If you have a family or a partner, it is even more vital that you have life insurance. Owning your own home in most cases will come with a requirement that you have life insurance – so that if anything happens your mortgage will be paid off and your loved ones can remain safe in their home. And, if the worst does happen, it can also help with the costs of a funeral and paying off any debt you have – so it doesn’t land on the shoulders of your loved ones.
Home Insurance
It might be the case that you are never broken into, that you never experience a house fire – you might be fine forever. But – you can never count on that being true. Although money can’t replace things of sentimental value, it will help you refurnish and repair your home, or provide the funds to find a new place if the damage is very bad. You can even use home insurance to make a claim if your appliances suddenly stop working and you need to get them repaired or replaced. Of course, make sure your policy covers everything you need it to.
Health Insurance
Many countries require you to have health insurance to help you cover the cost of medical treatments. It could be something small like needing antibiotics or something big like a life-threatening illness. Medical expenses stack up very quickly, so it is always worth getting a policy that covers even the basics.
Insurances give you peace of mind. You know that if something does happen, with the right cover that you will be okay. The costs that come with the bigger things in life, like break-ins, crashes, and illnesses are so substantial that in most cases, it will become a massive debt. Of course, you will always need to keep an eye on your policy and make sure that it covers what you need it to.
