There’s nothing like that fantastic feeling you get when you first learn that you’re pregnant, but for many women, that feeling can begin to fade a little when they’re belly gets big, their ankles swell, and they’re confronted with nausea, aches, and pains. A lot of women also wrongly assume that they cannot look desirable when they’re pregnant. Their changing bodies make them feel insecure, and this can put them into a negative frame of mind, despite the fact they are excited about their baby.

Feeling insecure about the way you look when you’re pregnant is such a shame because pregnant women can be and are very sexy. It’s all about having confidence and dressing to suit your changing shape. If you’re currently pregnant, here are some tips to help you look like the hot mama to be you are:

Choose Soft Fabrics

Soft fabrics like chiffon, silk, and lace are perfect for pregnant ladies because they automatically make you feel sexier and they give off a subtle flirty look while giving your belly enough space to change, grow and stay comfortable.

Accentuate Your Bump

One mistake that a lot of pregnant ladies make is that they try so very hard to hide their bump that they end up wearing frumpy clothing that looks more like a tent than an actual outfit. When you’re pregnant, you shouldn’t be afraid to show your pride by showing off your bump. Wearing a form-fitting dress is absolutely fine and will help to show off your cute curves.

Don’t Limit Yourself

Another thing that a lot of pregnant ladies do is sacrifice style for comfort. This is perfectly fine and being comfortable when you’re carrying a baby is the most important thing, but what a lot of ladies don’t realize is that there are a lot of Maternity Fashion brands that embrace comfort and style, so there’s no need to sacrifice your usual fashion-forward look for comfort if you don’t want to. Print dresses, butt enhancing jeans, cute tops – they’re all available to you if you want them, even when you have a huge bump.

Invest in a Good Pair of Maternity Jeans

The right pair of jeans can make any woman look at least ten times sexy, and that doesn’t have to change because you’re pregnant. After all, just because your stomach grows, doesn’t mean that your legs, your butt, and your other best features won’t continue to look great. The key is to find a pair of jeans which can accommodate your baby bump comfortably without being saggy or baggy in other areas.  If you can do that, then you won’t be stuck in sweats and leggings throughout your pregnancy.

Pamper Yourself

There’s nothing more attractive than confidence, so if your changing body has led to a loss in self-confidence, give yourself a boost by booking regular appointments at the salon. Get your hair and nails done, try out new makeup products, and heck get a massage or two too. You’ll feel like a queen, and it’ll show.
